Universal’s Epic Universe is set to open on 22nd May 2025 with a total of 13 attractions. There will be 11 rides and two shows.
Stardust Racers
- Location: Celestial Park
- Type: Steel dual-launched racing roller coaster
- Height Requirement: 48″ (122 cm) minimum
Stardust Racers is a thrilling roller coaster that features two racing tracks, each 5,000 feet long and 133 feet tall. The ride reaches speeds of 62 mph as riders race through space on glowing comet-themed trains. A key highlight is the Celestial Spin, where the coasters twist over each other. The ride looks like shooting stars at night, with onboard lights and sound. This fast, exciting coaster makes you feel like you’re flying through the stars!
Constellation Carousel
- Location: Celestial Park
- Type: Kid-friendly carousel
- Height Requirement: No height requirement; however, guests under 48″ must be accompanied by a supervising companion.
Constellation Carousel is a magical, space-themed ride. Unlike normal carousels, it has no central pole, making the floor smooth. Riders can choose from celestial animals like lions, dragons, and peacocks, which move up and down while spinning 360 degrees. The whole ride rotates, with smaller platforms spinning in different directions, creating a unique experience every time. The cosmic ceiling and starlit music make it feel like you’re gliding through space. It’s perfect for all ages, offering a gentle yet exciting ride filled with wonder and adventure!
Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge
- Location: Super Nintendo World. The ride is housed inside Bowser’s Castle.
- Type: Augmented reality (AR) dark ride.
Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge is an exciting, interactive ride in Super Mario Land at Universal’s Epic Universe. Guests enter Bowser’s Castle and wear AR goggles to race through famous Mario Kart tracks. You steer, collect coins, and throw shells at Team Bowser while dodging obstacles. The Power-Up Band adds extra fun by letting you earn digital rewards and unlock surprises. The ride is like a real-life video game, where you compete individually and as a team to win the Golden Cup.
Mine Cart Madness
- Location: Donkey Kong Country
- Type: Family roller coaster and dark ride
- Height Requirement: 36″ (92 cm) Minimum
Mine-Cart Madness is a fun and exciting roller coaster. Guests join Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong to protect the Golden Banana while racing through the Golden Temple in a rickety mine cart. The ride looks like it’s jumping over gaps, just like in the Donkey Kong Country video games. Riders also blast out of barrels for extra thrills! The Power-Up Band lets you collect digital coins and unlock surprises. With its unique coaster design, fast speeds, and jungle adventure, this ride is a must-try for Donkey Kong fans!
Yoshi’s Adventure

- Type: Family-friendly ride
- Height Requirement: 34 inches (86 cm) minimum
Yoshi’s Adventure is a fun, family-friendly ride. Guests hop on Yoshi’s back and go on a quest to find glowing eggs while exploring the Mushroom Kingdom. Along the way, they see familiar characters like Captain Toad and Baby Yoshis in colorful landscapes. Riders can press buttons to collect stamps in the Universal app, making the ride interactive. The queue starts at Mount Beanpole, passing fun scenes from the Mario games. With gentle movements and amazing views, this ride is perfect for all ages, especially young Nintendo fans!
Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment

Curse of the Werewolf is a fast and thrilling spinning coaster where guests try to escape a terrifying werewolf attack. The adventure starts at The Guild of Mystics’ wagon camp, where Maleva, the seer, warns that you carry the mark of the werewolf. Hiccup’s Wing Gliders

Hiccup’s Wing Gliders is a high-speed, dragon-flight adventure where guests ride Hiccup’s flying machine to soar over the Isle of Berk. The ride launches up to 45 mph, diving and twisting over water, under bridges, and through scenic rockwork. Along the way, riders encounter Hiccup, Toothless, and other dragons. A special splash effect makes it feel like you’re diving underwater! Dragon Racers Rally

Dragon Racer’s Rally lets guests train like a real dragon racer, practicing high-speed aerial stunts. Riders board Viking-made dragon-riding trainers that soar up to 67 feet in the air, performing barrel rolls, swoops, and dives. Guests control the intensity, choosing a mild glide or a wild, gravity-defying spin! Inspired by Berk’s Dragon Racing, the ride features Snotlout and Astrid, the worst and best racers in the series. With breathtaking heights and thrilling movements, this ride is perfect for adrenaline lovers.
Fyre Drill

Fyre Drill is a fun, interactive water ride where guests train like Vikings to put out accidental dragon fires! Inspired by Berk’s Fyre Skööl, this ride lets you board Viking ships and blast water cannons at flame-like targets and other boats. With over 130 moving targets and water cannons shooting over 28 feet, it’s a soaking-wet battle where the goal is to out-soak other Vikings! Ruffnut and Tuffnut host this hilarious, splash-filled challenge, making it perfect for families and anyone who loves friendly water fights!
Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry
