Opening Hours of Epic Universe

Universal Orlando Resort will unveil its most ambitious project yet, Universal’s Epic Universe, on May 22, 2025.

As one of the most anticipated theme park expansions in years, it promises to deliver an all-new level of immersive storytelling, cutting-edge attractions, and thrilling experiences.

While specific daily operating hours have not been officially confirmed, we can make predictions based on existing Universal parks.

Anticipated opening hours

Universal Studios Florida mostly opens from 9 am to 8 pm, and Universal’s Islands of Adventure from 9 am to 9 pm.

Given these schedules, it’s likely that Epic Universe will have similar operating hours, potentially opening around 9 am and closing between 8 pm and 9 pm.

While we await the official operating hours of Universal’s Epic Universe, it is safe to assume they will follow a similar pattern to Universal’s existing parks, with the possibility of extended evening hours.

For real-time updates, you should check Universal Orlando’s official website closer to the opening date.

 Early park admission

Universal Orlando Resort offers early park admission, which grants hotel guests access to select attractions up to one hour before the general public. This perk is expected to extend to Epic Universe starting May 23, 2025.

Eligible guests include those staying at Universal’s on-site hotels, such as:

  • Universal Stella Nova Resort (newly opened)
  • Universal Helios Grand Hotel (luxury stay within Epic Universe)
  • Other official Universal hotels

Early admission allows guests to experience high-demand attractions with shorter wait times, making it a valuable benefit for those looking to maximize their visit.

Best Time to Visit

To make the most of your visit, consider these factors when planning your trip:

  • Avoid Peak Seasons: The park’s grand opening and major holidays (Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Spring Break) will likely be extremely crowded. Visiting during off-peak seasons, such as mid-January to early March or September to early November, will offer shorter wait times.
  • Weekdays Over Weekends: Tuesday through Thursday generally sees lower crowds compared to weekends when both tourists and locals flock to the parks.
  • Arrive Early & Stay Late: To experience the most attractions with minimal wait times, aim to arrive before opening and stay until closing, especially to enjoy the nighttime entertainment.
