Universal Studios Singapore Height Requirements

Universal Studios Singapore is a fantastic destination packed with exciting rides and attractions for all ages.

To keep everyone safe, the park requires visitors to be tall enough to enjoy its rides without risk.

These guidelines are especially important for younger children, as being too small for a ride could cause injuries.

Before heading to the park, check the height restrictions for each ride to avoid surprises or disappointment.

Universal Studios Singapore gets over 4 million visitors a year, so it’s best to book your tickets early. The General Admission ticket is the most budget-friendly, the Express Pass helps you skip lines, and the VIP Pass offers a premium experience.

Why do rides have height requirements?

Before we get into the specific height requirements at Universal Studios Singapore, let’s talk about why these rules exist.

The main reason is to keep everyone safe. Theme park rides are designed to be exciting, but they can also be risky if not used correctly.

Height restrictions help make sure guests are big enough to handle the ride safely.

The rules vary depending on the type of ride—roller coasters and other fast, intense rides usually have higher height requirements than slower, gentler ones because of the stronger forces and movements involved.

Rides by minimum height required

Universal Studios Singapore has twelve exciting rides that cater to different age groups and height levels.

Some rides, like Magic Potion Spin, Accelerator, Dino-Soarin, and Treasure Hunters, have no height restrictions, so anyone can enjoy them.

However, kids under 122 cm (48 inches) must have an adult with them.

If your child is at least 92 cm (36.2 inches) tall, they can also try Sesame Street Spaghetti Space Chase, Enchanted Airways, and Canopy Flyer, but they’ll still need an adult if they’re under 122 cm.

Once kids reach 122 cm, they can enjoy almost all the rides on their own—except for Battlestar Galactica: Human vs. Cylon, which requires a height of 125 cm (49.2 inches).
